Film and Video Editing Course.
The main objective of the course is the professional training of future editors and technical postporduction staff .
The development of the edition techniques in film and video during the last decade has end up in the use of the same technical instruments for the edition of both formats. The digital non-lineal recording discs equipments, are used for the edition of films, TV series, advertisments, “video-clips”, etc. Knowing this fact, in the edition course of Septima Ars, special attention is payed to the new technologies, both in image and sound edition, without despising the traditional ways of edition, that will still be used for some years.
The guidance of the course allows the student to apply tecnical knowledge with different criteria, depending on the edition, if it is for television or for the cinema.
This multidisciplinar nature prepares the students for various professions that are the following:

This training is completed with basic theorical knowledge in audiovisual language, video, TV and film technology and with edition practices.
