Deadlines.

The application period starts the 8th of January 2009 and it will be opened until places are covered (12, 16 or 20 depending on the course). The applicant will have to fill in the application form, attaching two photographs and pay the application fee of the course.

Septima Ars recieves each year a high number of students from different countries ( this year we have a 37% ). The school gives these students the necessary documents to get the student visa. Therefore, the foreign students that are interested in applying to Septima Ars have to be aware that the tramits for the student visa takes some time, so you must take it into account when you decide to apply.
Where the Septima Ars´s Students came from?.

As a complement to the classes, visits to professional enterprises are programmed, where students have a closer contact with the professional media: laboratories, televisions, etc.

Septima Ars, in order to help its students to get into the professional world, has got to agreements of practices with many of the main audiovisual enterprises of ( Boca a Boca, Zeta Audiovisual, Sogecable, Telson, Grupo Árbol, FCB/Tapsa, AXN Channel, Mediapro, France Telecom España, Young & Rubicam, Canal 7 TV, Onda 6, El Paso Producciones Cinematográficas, Video Report, Onda 6, EPC, Disney Channel, Plural Enterntaiment, Libertad Digital Televisión...)*. Students from Septima Ars have worked or are working in film and TV lighting enterprises, film laboratories, film services enterprises, film, TV and advertising productions, national and subjects TV channels, and as "freelance" professionals for different national an foreign agencies.
* Students with a degree have preference in doing practices in enterprises.

Once the course is finished,the student will recieve, a certificate and a DVD with the projects he/she has worked in. Those projects can be sent by the students to any festival, in agreement with the school. The School also promotes those projects in any possible way.

Throughout the course and as a complement to the syllabus the school gives some conferences and talks in which important audiovisual professionals take part. These conferences always take place outside the class timetable. In the last years the following professionals have come to share their experience with our students: Gracia Querejeta ( Goya Award and winner in San Sebastián, in Valladolid and in other different cities as director, sreenwriter and producer ); Icíar Bollaín ( Goya Award to best director and best film in 2004 and awarded in the Seminci of Valladolid or in Cannes), actress (El Sur, Malaventura, Tierra y Libertad) and director (Te doy mis ojos, ¿Hola, estás sola? or Flores del otro mundo); Manuel Albadalejo ( Manolito Gafotas ); Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, Goya Award in 2002 for "Intacto", for the best novel director; the director Achero Mañas, with various awards, like the Goya Award 2001 or the Fassbinder Award for the european discover for the film "El Bola"; cinematographer Carlos Suárez (Remando al viento, La escopeta nacional ); Enrique Muñoz, Press Chief of Lola Films; Elio Castro, film critic (Lo que yo te diga, Cadena Ser); Antonio Martínez, director of the Puppet News in Canal+; Fernando Moro from Estudios Moro of animation, etc.
