Why Septima Ars is a different school.

Septima Ars offers closed prices for the whole course or diploma course (medium price 4.300 euros per year) which can be monthly paid during the time the course lasts and that does not increase each year, what allows a Diploma course student to know from the beginning the total amount that has to pay for the studies.

Septima Ars shoots forty 8 minutes long short films each year in 16 mm., apart from another forty short stories.

They are shot with the best and most modern camera at the moment in 16mm , the Arriflex SR Advanced with Video Assist. Other practices are shot with 35mm and HD cameras: Arri 535, Red One, HDV.

This guarantees each Film Direction student the direction of his/her own short film and each Camera student to do the photography of the short films.

Septima Ars is the only school in Spain that includes in the TV programmes a practical subject of broadcast with Mobile Unit, in which each student has to produce the direct broadcast of a sport or cultural event and participate in the ones that are produced by the othe students. This is a rising and labour demanding specialization. This subject is tought by Canal + professionals, which is with no doubt the best channel in Spain in broadcsting .

Above, all the students have their participation guaranteed in many other short films as direction assistant, script, sound tecnitian, microfonist, cameraman, camera assistant, electrician...depending on the course they are doing… Compulsorily each student has to take part in ten short films (125 horas) and voluntarily in all that are shot.

The sound of the short films is recorded with the most modern digital equipments, the lighting is done with professional lighting equipment (fressnel, softlight, fluorescent) from 300 to 2.000 w power, with a professional travelling, with a Ronford tripod and an O´Connor head completely professionals.

The school offers a van for the production of the short films.

Septima Ars is the only school in Spain that includes in the TV Camera and lightning programme a practical subject of steadicam.

Each Script writing student, writes at least a short film script, a feature film script and a TV sitcom or documentary script, apart from learning this profession technique throughout the course.

Each Edition student has to edit at least four short films, two the image and two the sound, apart from television programmes and documentaries and the creation of the graphics of all of them handling all kinds of software: Avid, Final Cut, Combustion, Protools.

The school has a video library with 900 titles in DVD for the students use completely free in the school or to take them home.

Septima Ars is the only school of Spain that guarantees the TV students over 140 hours of practical work among almost 50 programmes. The classes are given by TVE professionals .

Al the material used in the training work during the courses and the Diploma courses is included in the price and there are not any additional payment at all.
